We are recruiting for dynamic, confident and creative Children’s Entertainers (DinoM8) to ensure our youngest guests have a fantastic experience from our activity schedules. This role is perfect for someone who excels at communicating with others in a professional manner to ensure a high quality of customer service is provided to our guests, to make every day feel like a holiday.

Role: DinoM8 (Children’s entertainer)

Location: All Blackpool parks

Hours: 10 – 30 hours per week. Must be able work weekends and evenings (especially in high season).

Salary: £11.53 per hour

Shift pattern: Likely Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, including split shifts. Plus mid-week days in high seasons.

Role overview

  • To assist in the delivery of planned activities, entertaining children and adults to a high standard.
  • Showcasing singing, dancing and presenting skills.
  • Good swimming ability as activities and events may be hosted from the pool.
  • To undertake DJ activities within the club area for the purpose of family entertainment.
  • Undertake mike work such as; bingo calling, introducing acts and comparing activities
  • Carry out activities such as; face painting, acts & crafts, character dress up (Grunty & Pom Pom)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working as a children’s entertainer, though additional training will be provided.
  • Able to produce right to work documentation (e.g. passport or birth certificate & NI document)
  • Able to produce valid driving licence (preferred)
  • Undertake an enhanced DBS check.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and guests effectively.
