We are recruiting for a Shop Assistant to provide a warm, welcoming and helpful service within the shop. Role: Shop Assistant
Location: Newton Hall Holiday Park, Staining, FY3 0AX
Hours: 18 – 25 hours per week. Must be able work weekends and evenings.
Salary: £11.88 per hour
Shift pattern: Friday to Sunday, 1pm – 8.30pm and 1pm – 5.30pm
Role overview
- To undertake activities within the store to optimise and exceed sales target, profitability and customer satisfaction in conjunction with the Store Manager.
- Manage cash and payment systems in accordance with company procedures and policies.
- Implement shop merchandising, layout and customer traffic flow for customer satisfaction in appearance and image.
- To ensure all areas of the shop are maintained to a clean, hygienic and safe standard.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Requirements:
- Proven experience of face to face customer service within the hospitality industry Additional training will be provided.
- Able to produce right to work documentation (e.g. passport or birth certificate & NI document)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and guests effectively.
- Be aged 18 or over in order to sell alcohol
