This one year programme which is operationally focused will be working towards a permanent managerial role at the end of programme. Over the 12 months you will experience all areas of our hospitality operations. We are looking for self motivated and curious individuals who want to learn about the operations of this highly successful business. You must be able to learn and adapt to each department you are based in and conclude each module with a documented report detailing your observations and recommendations.
Duties
- Understand and undertake the duties associated with each role within the department.
- Familiarize yourself with the SOPs associated with the department in which you are working. Work with the Head of Department to review and update the SOP for that area.
- Undertake the supervision of at least 3 shifts towards the end of each module.
- Handle a number of guest enquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for resolution that enhances guest experience.
- Identify any areas of growth to; generate sales, save money and/or streamline processes.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during busy service periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality setting would put you at a distinct advantage; a willingness to learn is key.
- Some supervisory experience and an understanding of the principals of being a great leader are essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with guests and team members alike.
- A proactive attitude towards guest experience, demonstrating a commitment to providing an outstanding experience for all visitors.
